KreatInk (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a social drawing app that lets you complete daily drawing challenges, create drawings with friends, and share your creations. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive your name and email address (if you choose to share them) so we can create and maintain your KreatInk account. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.

Content you create. We collect drawings, photos you attach as backgrounds, captions, comments, ratings, reactions, and other content you choose to submit through the app.

Social information. We collect information about your friends, friend requests, groups, and participation in shared drawing activities so that social and collaborative features can work.

Device and notification information. We may collect a push notification token and related technical information needed to deliver notifications, such as friend requests or your turn in a drawing game. You can control notifications through your device settings.

Usage and technical information. We may collect basic technical information and logs needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the app, such as timestamps, app events, device-related information, and error or performance information.

Advertising and Tracking

KreatInk uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Google Mobile Ads may collect or process information such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising information, performance information, crash information, and interactions with ads or the app. This information may be used for advertising, advertising measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, and improving the advertising service.

On iOS, KreatInk may request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before allowing access to the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking purposes. If you do not grant permission, advertisements can still be shown, but the IDFA is not included in Google’s ad request.

We do not sell your personal information ourselves. Advertising data may nevertheless be processed by Google and its advertising partners in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements.

You can manage tracking permission for KreatInk at any time in your iOS device settings. Where applicable, advertising consent choices may also be presented in the app.

How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services

KreatInk relies on third-party services to provide parts of the app. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Third-party providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account and app data are stored using Supabase, a third-party database and infrastructure provider. Photos and drawings are stored using Supabase file storage. Push notifications are delivered through Apple’s Push Notification service. Some information may also be processed by Apple or Google when you use their sign-in, advertising, or payment services.

Sharing With Other Users

When you use social features, the information you choose to share may be visible to other KreatInk users. Public drawings and your public profile information, such as username and avatar, may be visible to other users. Content shared with friends or inside private groups is available to the people who are part of that sharing context.

You control whether content is shared through the app's available privacy and sharing controls. Content you submit to collaborative or social features may necessarily be visible to other participants.

Purchases and Subscriptions

KreatInk may offer paid features or subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We may receive information from Apple necessary to determine whether a purchase or subscription is active and to provide the corresponding features.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app and its features, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our rights. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Children’s Privacy

KreatInk is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the app, our services, or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the app or website.
